  • 400mm is needed all round for installation. For size-specific minimum installation areas, please refer to the individual product pages. Please ensure that the unit ordered will fit into the available space. 
  • Ground is to be fairly level and area to be free of obstructions, plants, trees, rubble. If no stilts are ordered or if no concrete slab is provided, the change in height should not exceed 400mm across the diagonal of the Wendy House.
  • Wendy Houses will not be installed on platforms higher than ground level. 
  • There should be no water or electrical installations under the Wendy House and no overhead restrictions or obstructions above the Wendy House. 
  • Please ensure the person on site is aware of where the Wendy House is to be placed. Acceptance of the Wendy House confirms installation is in the position indicated. 
  • Delivery dates at the time of enquiry are estimates based on current stock and delivery slot availability. We work on a first come first serve basis and delivery dates can only be confirmed on proof of payment. 
  • Delivery and collections can only take place once funds have reflected in our account. Payment terms are 100% in advance. 
  • Delivery may be impacted by unforeseen circumstances and rain, this will be communicated to you. 
  • Failed installation for reasons outside our control will be subject to a failed install charge. This charge is R1 562 for units up to and including a 3m x 4.2m, and R3 300 for bigger units. 
  • Municipal and estate regulations are the responsibility of the owner.
  • All sizes quoted are nominal roof dimensions. For specific dimensions please refer to the individual product pages. 
  • Items not listed on the website, proforma invoice, or quotation are not included. 
  • Internal paneling is recommended for accommodation use. 
  • Wendy Houses with verandas require annual maintenance to the veranda. 
  • Wendy Houses which have been moved and/or had large modifications are not covered under our warranty. 
  • Prices subject to change without prior notice.

Wendy House Centre is committed to ensuring a seamless and reliable delivery experience. Please read the delivery policy to understand the process and expectations.

  1. In-house delivery and installation crew: We pride ourselves in our experienced and professional delivery and installation crew who perform each delivery with the utmost care.
  2. Lead Time: The lead time for delivery and installation is typically 3 to 5 business days, depending on product and delivery availability. Dates provided upon initial inquiry are indicative and subject to confirmation.
  3. Confirmation of Delivery Dates: Delivery dates will be confirmed once payment has been successfully received.
  4. Failed Install Charges: If our installation team is unable to complete the installation due to factors beyond our control (such as unpreparedness, accessibility issues, or incorrect measurements), failed install charges will apply. We kindly ask customers to ensure preparedness to avoid additional charges.

Additional Information:

  • Our standard delivery and installation price includes delivery and installation up to 60kms from our factory in Muldersdrift, Gauteng.
  • Delivery ranges of 60 – 150kms are possible at a small additional fee. The fee structure is below:

  • Deliveries which exceed 150kms are not possible, please consider a Collect and DIY option.
  • Our delivery and install crew will arrive with the necessary tools and equipment to complete the job efficiently. All of our tools are battery operated so we do not electricity.
  • Prior to delivery, please ensure that the installation site is prepared as per our terms and conditions.
  • Any changes to the delivery date must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. Rescheduled delivery dates will be subject to delivery availability.

Refund and Returns on Delivered and Installed Wendy Houses

  • Refunds are offered in full if the refund is requested before the Wendy Houses leaves the Wendy House premises for delivery and installation.
  • The refund must be requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date.
  • Refunds and returns are offered less a failed installation charge if the Wendy House has left the Wendy House Centre premises for delivery and installation but has not yet been installed onto the customers premises. The customer will be refunded as per the refund policies.
  • Exchanges are permitted less a failed installation charge if the Wendy House has left the Wendy House Centre premises for delivery and installation but has not yet been installed onto the customer’s premises. The customer will be credited with the invoice amount less the failed install charge. Any additional costs with the new order must be paid for in full before delivery and installation of the new order can take place. Any surplus costs will be refunded to the customer as per the refund policies.
  • Due to the nature of the product, no returns or refunds are permitted once the unit has been installed onto the customer’s premises.
  • Change of mind or buyer’s remorse is not eligible for a refund or return.

Refund Process

  • If eligible, a refund will be initiated into your original method of payment. In the case of a card payment on the point of sale machine at Wendy House Centre, an EFT (electronic funds transfer) will be done. Refunds via Payfast will attract the Payfast transaction fees.
  • Refunds may take 2 to 3 business days to process.
